Having a green flag guy feels like acquiring a trophy nowadays. Knowing you’re with someone who is considered the society’s standards, who wouldn’t feel proud of it, right?
But how would you know someone is a green flag guy?
Here are some signs to look out for:
- Consistency
Whether with his emotions or time, he is consistent. He maintains communication no matter the circumstances. He makes time to check on you, or asks about your day despite their hectic schedule.
- Respect for Boundary
When someone values your personal space and respects your decisions and limitations, he’s a sure green flag guy.
- Shared Values
You’ll know if he’s a green flag when he is able to relate to you and your beliefs. He knows how to understand and respect cultural norms and doesn’t make fun of it.
- Thoughtfulness
It’s attractive for a man to think of you or the little things about you. For instance, he picks up a rose on the way to a market because he knows it’s your favorite. It can also be through remembering important dates such as your birthday and planning a surprise for you.
- Accountability
This is when they’re able to own up to their actions without the need to blame others. It is also about considering your situation before they decide on something.
- Genuine Interest
A person with genuine interest possesses a combination of the above qualities. He is consistent, thoughtful, accountable, and respectful.
When a man is genuine, he will not fake his personality and treatment of you. That, I think, is the purest.
