“How do you know when someone really loves you?”
When they remember the little things about you, like the things you say that others ignore.
Sometimes it comes in the form of them taking care of you. Someone who truly loves you shows it by taking special care to think about you and being considerate about you. And this is because you’re the first thing that comes into their mind whenever something happens, good or bad.
Other people show it differently, of course. Some seek your attention, some pick on you and some drag you to things they find exciting just so they can enjoy it with you.
There are also the quiet and thoughtful ones that listen to you with rapt attention when you talk about something you’re happy and excited about. When they genuinely have fun seeing you prattle on about something and even ask you questions about it.
Knowing whether someone really loves you isn’t easy… but sometimes it just is, especially when it comes to those who outright tell you in your face without shame. Those are the honest ones that have become rare these days.
