DATING ADVICE FOR MEN

“Should I give up on finding a girlfriend after so much heartbreak?”

It’s okay to take a break. Heartbreak and dating burnout happen to nearly everyone.

Before I met my husband, I used to experience dating burnout a lot. I got sick of looking at dating apps. I was disheartened by the mere thought of investing so much emotionally just to be disappointed.

I even thought of quitting dating altogether.

But I didn’t. I thought I quit but in truth, I just stayed away from it for a while until I was mentally and emotionally okay trying again. Hanging out with my friends and hearing them encourage me helped a lot too. They even helped set me up with a couple of people until I met my now husband.

And here I am. Happily married.

You don’t have to quit. You just need time to heal yourself before trying again. Love is worth it, trust me. It may not be for everyone and I admit I’m one of the lucky ones who found it compared to a lot of you out there who didn’t. And I don’t take it for granted either, because I try my best in helping out those who want to find love.

Tl;dr: take a break. Then date again when you’re ready.
