“Is it normal to run out of feelings and love for someone when in a relationship?”

Falling out of love happens pretty often. It happens a lot with married couples when both parties have become complacent within the course of their relationship.

It mostly happens after the rose-tinted glasses are off and the novelty of being in love has worn off. When you’re looking at your partner, learning all their habits and realizing you don’t want to deal with all of them, you probably bit off more than you could chew. You’re not ready for love because those that are in love chose to deal with those habits and are happy about it.

When you both have gotten way too used to each other and have just stayed together out of convenience, you’re settling.

You’ve fallen out of love if neither of you put any effort into going on dates anymore.

You don’t love each other anymore if you can’t even remember when you two last got intimate in bed.

If you realize you barely have any patience to deal with them recently, then you’ve stopped loving your partner romantically.

You either end it before it gets worse where you compromise your own happiness for comfort… or you do something about it.

After all, it’s quite possible to fall in love again.
