Original question: Should I delete all the stuff from my ex? Why or why not? What are the reasons?

Let bygones be bygones.

If you ask me, you have to remove all the stuff from your ex.

You should definitely get rid of everything that will remind you of your painful breakup. The only way to heal yourself is to let go of the emotional harm they caused you and acknowledge that getting rid of those things is part of the process. Here, there are no ifs or buts.

Doing so will enable you to rediscover yourself. It will support your development and ensure that you don’t experience “rebound issues” in your subsequent relationships. Nobody wants to see their prospective partner’s ego bruised by discovering that you are still holding onto things from your past.

Eliminating everything doesn’t mean you’re weak; on the contrary, it means you’re resilient enough to start over in life with no baggage from your past relationship.

Keep the fire within you burning!
