I don’t know about better, but relationships between older men and younger women can be just as successful and satisfying as those between couples of the same age.
Take my marriage as an example. My husband is more than 20 years older than me. We got married when I was 25, and I moved to the U.S. shortly after to start our life together.
We’ve been together for over a decade now, and I have no regrets. My husband has never once made me feel patronized just because I’m younger. He treats me as his equal, and we have an incredible amount of trust and respect for each other.
Yes, there are challenges, especially when we’re still starting out and we had to face the difficulties of navigating online dating as well as the fact that we’re from two different countries.
But no relationship is perfect. What’s important is you love each other and you’re both committed to making it work.
